Installation procedure of Leap - The Call Tracker (Call Billing software)
1. Put the LEAP Installation CD into CD Drive and browse the CD.
2. The CD is in auto run mode and will start the installation automatically or else you can run the setup.exe from setup folder in the CD.
3. Follow the default procedure to install the software.
4. Once the installation is complete start the application.
5. For first time it will request you for an Installation No.
6. Please request your EPBX vendor for Authentication No. Once you receive the authentication no. from your vendor, and then enter the same in text box provided on the screen and click on "Password OK"
Note: Click "Enter Password Later,” if you do not have authentication no. The leap will run only for 10 Clicks without the Authentication number and will again ask for the same after 10 clicks are over. Please ask for the authentication number from your vendor before your 10 clicks expire.
7. On running LEAP The Call Tracker for the first time, it will request you to set the Properties and Configuration of PBX Brand which you are presently using. To set the properties go to the menu bar and open the Properties TAB.
On the Properties tab
a) Set the Com Port
b) Set the Maximum Speed ( Baud Rate )
c) Other parameters have default settings. Change where ever required.
d) Click on OK.
Click on the Configuration tab
a) Set the region
b) Set the brand and
c) Set use type as corporate.
d) Set time duration of call dropping. (All the calls before this time duration will be dropped)
e) Set Provider. (Set all the Co Line no. and their service provider respectively which is required for billing)
f) Click on OK.
8. Check the status bar of the Call Trapper window which shows Status, Settings and Connection Time. If there is no information showing or any information is missing in the Status Bar of the Call Trapper window then exit from the application and restart the application; to get the latest settings. (Note: For exiting the application you have to login first; explained in step No. 10)
9. Now you can see the data coming into call trapper window.
Go to Utility menu and click on Import Data->Manual Import to reflect calls details into the report.
9. Login to navigate the application (File -> Login)
Default Username = admin
Password = admin
10. Go to Miscellaneous Menu, Click on Company and fill in the company address and save it.
11. To preview the report click on Report menu and choose the reports listed in drop down menu.
12. If report is not coming ensure that you have followed the step no.8 and 10 properly. |
